I am sociologist. I hold PhD degree in social sciences from Institute of Philosophy and Sociology of Polish Academy of Sciences.

I am assistant professor at Institute of Philosophy and Sociology of Polish Academy of Sciences (Social Structure Research Department).

My main research interests are: sociology of music, cultural stratification, musical distinctions. 

In years 2015-2018 I was a chair of Warsaw Department of Polish Sociological Association and in years 2016-2019 I was a Secretary of Sociology of Arts Section of Polish Sociological Association. I am also a member of the Unintended Consequences Workshops team and of Bringing the New Economic Sociology Back Into the Sociological Analysis Workshops team.
