I am sociologist. I hold PhD degree in social sciences from Institute of Philosophy and Sociology of Polish Academy of Sciences.

My main research interests are: sociology of music, musical distinctions, economic sociology of music, music education and social change.

I am a chair of Warsaw Department of Polish Sociological Association and a Secretary of Sociology of Arts Section of Polish Sociological Association. I am also a member of the Unintended Consequences Workshops team and of Bringing the New Economic Sociology Back Into the Sociological Analysis Workshops team.

2017, Music Experiences Among the Elderly in Poland, a research project conducted by the Department of Sociology, University of Texas (USA). Principal investigator: prof. Joseph Kotarba. My role in the project: co-principal investigator.
